Aegial Transformation

I was a bit torn about whether I'd post this on here since it's not a "finished" piece, but figured I'd go ahead and share!

I realized that for the longest time I never really explained or drew how aegials transformed, so here's an idea of how the process looks (at least for Nezaal). I wanted to show how the body of the aegial deconstructs and dissolves into magic particles, before reconstructing as the armor or weapon form. All aegials have bodies that are plated like armor, and when they transform, the plates disconnect, and the rest of the body bursts into magical "flame", with the color of it depending on the aegial. I didn't have it pictured, but this transformation can only happen if the aegial is in direct bodily contact with the wielder (touching the aegial's shoulder with your bare hand, for example). The weapon would materialize in the wielder's hands. The aegial's vital core, or heart, attaches to the back of the wielder's neck and serves as an "anchor" that keeps the aegial in their form.

I'm still not 100% sure if I'd like to share more stuff about aegials on here, but I suppose if there is enough interest in it, then I'll share other things I draw up about these fellas and their lore. That's up to you guys - let me know if you'd be interested! *H*
